Dr. Kim Ross B.SC., M.Sc., D.C., Ph.D Biomechanics
Dr. Kim Ross received his Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Waterloo in 2003 under the supervision of Dr. S. McGill. Dr. Ross graduated from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (C.M.C.C.) in 1987.
Since 1988, he has been teaching chiropractic skills and body biomechanics at C.M.C.C. and currently holds the title of Associate Professor. In 1999, he obtained the position of Chair for the Department of Applied Chiropractic.
Since 1995, he has been invited to the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Colorado annually,to help develop part four of the National Board Exams. He has been published in the journals Spine and Clinical Biomechanics.
In 2003, he received an award as Researcher of the Year from the Ontario Chiropractic Association. He is presently the Director of Clinical Services & Research at The Orthotic Group. Dr. Ross has lectured in over 50 cities across the globe on foot biomechanics and body biomechanics including Canada, USA, Ireland, Australia and Switzerland. His audiences include student chiropractors,
chiropractors, chiropodists, podiatrists, physiotherapists and faculty members at various educational institutions.
Alan Lustig, D.P.M.
Alan Lustig, D.P.M graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1973. He has been in private practice in Toronto for 32 years.
Dr. Lustig is presently the director of the Don Mills Orthopaedic Group's Orthotic and Gait Analysis clinic in Toronto. It is recognized as one of the premier surgical and biomechanical lower extremtiy orthopaedic centers in Canada.
Dr. Lustig was the recipent of the 1983 and 1984 President's Award at the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto. In the past ten years, Dr. Lustig has lectured in over 50 cities across North America on biomechanics and foot orthotic therapy. He has published numerous papers on lower extremity medicine and written a book on computer gait analysis.
Dr. Lustig has one of the largest foot orthotic practices in North America. He has worked extensively in the Canadian foot orthotic manufacturing industry for the past 20 years. He has been the Chief Medical Director of The Orthotic Group since 2000.
